Pran Buri Forest Park is a mangrove park located on the opposite side of the Pranburi river from the town center, where the Sirinart Rajini Ecosystem Learning Center can be found. It offers a larger and, in many ways, more impressive experience. The park covers a broader area of restored mangrove forest and feels more immersive once you are inside.
A network of elevated wooden boardwalks stretches deep into the mangroves, allowing visitors to walk comfortably above the tidal mud and root systems. The pathways are longer and more varied, creating a stronger sense of exploration. One of the highlights is the observation tower, which provides a panoramic view over the mangrove canopy and toward the coastline. From above, you better understand the scale of the ecosystem and how it connects river, forest, and sea.
The atmosphere remains calm and educational, with interpretive signs explaining the ecological importance of mangroves in protecting the shoreline and supporting marine life. Like the surrounding areas, you may spot small crabs, mudskippers, and birdlife depending on the time of day and tide level.
Access, however, is slightly more complicated. Reaching the park requires a deliberate detour and is less straightforward than other nearby nature spots. That additional effort tends to limit crowds, which contributes to a quieter experience once you arrive. For those willing to make the trip, it offers a more complete and expansive immersion into the Pranburi mangrove ecosystem.
